Our Story

Ishaka Inc is a company registered in Delaware, USA and with a subsidiary studio located in
Nairobi Kenya. The founder of the company, Sagwa Chabeda has secured the rights to a graphic
novel from which he created a Game Design Document for an Action-Adventure video game
that will feature an array of characters from diverse kingdoms and mythical environments in
Africa.
Through a partnership with an international game development partner, a core team with vast
competency has been put together to develop Ishaka. The first phase will be development of a
highly polished vertical slice of the game that centers on the ancient kingdom of Zimbabwe and
development of a trailer showcasing the incredible locations and characters.
The Ishaka Game will be created in Unreal Engine™ for PC on Steam™ and Console for an
international audience. We have developed creative partnerships to offer the game to the
untapped African audience on Mobile across the Africa.

Introducing Ishaka:

The story of Shaka is widely known, His adventures and achievements have been recounted in films, TV dramas, musicals and books. Less known are the influences and experiences that shaped this legendary
warriors psyche prior to his inventions and heroic deeds. The Ishaka video game will allow players to experience these exploits in an Action-Adventure RPG that takes the player on a quest in mythic and historic locations in Africa as he takes on challenges designed by the gods. The dramatic gameplay levels will ultimately reveal who the allies and foes represented through legends from African Kingdoms and folklore are.
